Keeping the website going
Keeping the website going...

I considered shutting down this site and frankly saving the money it cost's me every year to keep it published.
It is not for financial gain other than a place to keep my family memories alive in an easy to access location.
Everytime I think that is it, I decide to renew. It is funny how something that came out of grief and deep sadness now actually gives me comfort.
The other reason of course are my recipes which if I don't do for a while I forget? Handy because I just take a look at my phone and off I go.
There are lots more photos I need to scan and pointless silly stories to recall.
Ania is getting older, at that point in her education where she will need to make important choices soon. I hope one day she will look back at these pages, smile maybe cry but above all remember her Polish roots with pride and know she has a whole lot of family history, people who sacrified their lives to ensure we could live a better life than they did.
So for now the site remains.
Happy New Year 2024 let's hope it is a good one for the world.
Below me and Ania at Edinburgh Christmas Markets again (with creepy Santa on a ride!)
I said no more classic cars but I always wanted one of these, my Beetle's Italian cousin I couldn't resist! A teeny Christmas present...................... Last one promise!

We were lucky to stay in St Ives and enjoyed a different type of Christmas.
