Christmas eve 2021

Christmas eve 2021

2021 surprised everyone with yet another covid variant, Omicron sounding like a baddie from an old Flash Gordon film.

Some things will never change in the Polish Catholic calendar, nor the Krawczyk family tradition.

Our evening Christmas eve meal.

With my new found baking skills I produced two poppy seed rolls. No stress this year trying to find the last ones in the Polish shops!

I have to admit it was not quite my usual well planned event,  An odd gaff on the food front and last minute searching for festive Christmas songs on you tube didn't quite go to plan but it was nice to continue this family tradition.

But we are still here and I hope Ania will continue this tradition. Mum definitely left me enough holy bread just in case.

Merry Christmas for 2021 and lets hope 2022 will get better.
